L'artiste Degas
Product Details
A founding artist of the Impressionist movement, Edgar Degas was a master of his craft in the last half of the 19th century. A lover of dance, over half of the works of Degas contain dancers. Capturing the discipline of dance and the beauty of movement in his paintings, his paintbrush was his instrument of immortality.
Inspired by this master artist, the European oak Degas exhibits the same beauty captured by the paintbrush so many years ago. Each 8 5/8” wide plank is wire-brushed and reactive stained, bringing out unique and multi-toned colors that normally take decades of aging to achieve.
